Hello, my name is Michael 'Charlie McGee and I am the CEO and sole artist of Charlie's Multimedia Emporium. 

 

In the four academic years up to August 31st 2010, I was a mature student in both Rathmines College & Ballyfermot College. My studies of media during these four years have resulted in the accomplishment in of a Class One (1.1) Honours Degree in Media Production Management, which is accredited by Dublin City University. Furthermore, I completed a Post-Grad in Creative Multimedia Programming at Limerick Institute of Technology in 2013.

 

I am also a published novelist with my first offering titled Scorned, while other published works of mine includes seven short stories, which can be found in four separate anthologies.

 

I have previously gained experience in a journalistic capacity as editor-in-chief of a successful college magazine; I have also gained experience for a regional publication; plus I have done some freelance journalism for a national newspaper.

 

I have created a number of multimedia products for different businesses in the areas of graphic design, digital video editing, database design and set-up, animated logos, HTML Emails and other... 

 

Other hands-on knowledge I have accumulated are from behind the scenes in televised media productions as Second Assistant to the Director in a short film production, and as an extra, a featured/special extra, and also in a small acting role on several television and film productions since December 2007.

 

Also, I have also garnered a sizable quantity of experience as a producer and presenter of many radio productions over two years up to March 2010.

 

Lastly, I am co-founder and Chairman of the Nenagh Silent Film Festival, which was successfully held over four days during February 2013.
